AGCO have been working with Service Point since the contract was awarded in 2007, providing onsite print and mail room management. In 2012 the contract was renewed, with the challenge to improve upon the current service and reduce wastage of print within the current system. AGCO wanted even greater savings and control over their print.

The Solution

Paragon Service Point provided a centralised print and post room, to handle all incoming post and courier deliveries, as well as bespoke print not available on the MFDs around the of ces. Service Point introduced a new host of MFDs with EquiTrack – a software solution that provides cost management and visibility. The scanning services have been expanded and are controlled through the accounts payable department, digitising all incoming invoices, and uploaded to AGCO’s own ERP system. Utilising the infrastructure of the Paragon Service Point branch network, the isolated location of the AGCO head office can be supported extensively - both by the local Service Point branch in Birmingham, and across the UK. Finally, Paragon Service Point appointed a COM (customer operations manager) to work closely with AGCO to deliver enhanced services and customer support.

The Result

Paragon Service Point have provided the security and business continuity, vital to the production level needed for AGCO’s primary business, in this case, manufacturing. Service level agreement guidelines have been met to deliver business critical services to their UK branches. Service Point have also expanded the solution to provide marketing print in the future. Equitrack solution has been introduced on the newest MFD installation – it reduces wastage of print. A fob and key code is needed to retrieve print sent to onsite printers, avoiding needless or forgotten print - 35% wastage reduced.
