Leeds host excellent expo

Leeds technology expo

In celebration of its official opening, Paragon Service Point Leeds held an open day and technology expo at the new address in the city centre, 76 Wellington Street, last Thursday. The expo showcased the wide range of services that Paragon Service Point and also highlighted key offerings which make use of the latest technology to cater to business needs such as hybrid mail, scanning & archiving solutions and Building Information Modelling (BIM) training and software.

Testament to the wide variety of sectors that the branch serves, local businesses that attended ranged from solicitors to media agencies, medical companies to architecture firms and various marketing teams. The branch had previously been located in Holbeck, Leeds then moving to Castleford before returning to Leeds city centre last year. “It was great to celebrate moving back into the city centre with lots of our local customers” said Graham Easby, Northern Commercial Manager, “and it was a great opportunity to showcase the many ways we can support businesses.”

The branch also partnered with Leeds Rhinos and local charity St George’s Crypt, with Leeds Rhino CEO Gary Hetherington cutting the honorary cake. “Paragon Service Point and Leeds Rhinos have a lot of shared values we both are proud of the cities we work in, we both strive to become part of the community and we take pride in our business partners growing and developing as we do too,” he said.

The event packed evening included meeting the Leeds Rhinos team, CGI show reel, digital animation, legal e-bible presentation, archiving & scanning walkthrough, cloud storage presentation. It also highlighted our print capabilities like wide format printing. Also showcasing key technological platforms like hybrid mail and BIM Revit presentation.

Thanks go to Sue Perkins who was the event project manager, beginning work on the event in December of last year. This role was one that Sue undertook over and above her already busy role in the team, and was presented with flowers and whisky for her incredible effort!
