Questions Internet and Information Services Ltd (QIIS) is a software/ solutions developer specialising in web based portals and content management solutions for both the public and private sectors.

After initial success in the education sector, QIIS has expanded and developed its products, moving into other areas of the public sector, including Local Authorities, and the private sector. QIIS now stands as the leading supplier of Local Education Authority Portal/Intranet solutions.

To promote their service, along with using pioneering Internet portals and affiliate packages, they have chosen exhibiting as a key strategy to build new business and grow their business offering with existing clients.

QIIS value exhibiting as a key marketing programme: it brings their account managers face to face with interested parties, and has been proven to be one of the most powerful tools of generating new business leads. Their representatives can meet and introduce themselves and qualify potential business over three days at a trade show, which is up to 50 times the amount of potential business they could generate through direct marketing, advertising and telemarketing.

Over the coming year QIIS will be exhibiting at over 20 trade shows and seminars throughout the UK, and with the scope for moving internationally. When they began booking space they soon realised that no two-stand allocations were the same and that they wanted to convey their full service offering at each venue.

After researching the market, they realised that they required a modular exhibition system Ð ie a system that could be reconfigured to suit any stand space and height.

QIIS Marketing approached Service Point, knowing that they were the sole distributor of Skyline modular systems, they had previously used Mirage, a large pop-up unit for easy transportation and had seen the work Service Point is doing with modular stands for Claranet and Stratumsoft.

QIIS had a number of requirements for the stand, as well as being constructed of modular hardware to reconfigure to different sized exhibits, such as: a private meeting area; structurally sound to mount and support AV equipment and display brochures; seating for work stations and cinema style for demonstrations.

Taking QIISÕ brief for the upcoming events meant the Service Point designers had to be able to create a series of exhibition designs for a variety of stand sizes and objectives using the same hardware reconfigured into different designs.

Service Point developed 6 designs that would take them into every configuration for their upcoming shows, and cut-costs by using the existing hardware in a variety of imaginative ways. All designs were created using the latest CAD software and presented to QIIS in rendered format.

Skytruss Ð sturdy and reconfigurable metal framework both straight and curved, allowing build to great heights and its superior strength supports multiple AV monitors, rotating backlit header rings, gobos and cantilever sections.

Magwall Ð a steel-clad panel system that reconfigures to any size or dimension. Magwall provides the exhibit with extra strength and security with lockable integral doors. Mirage Plus Ð a large, self-locking pop-up structure for fast assembly, made from lightweight carbon fibre for easy transportation.

Mosaic - combines the seamless appearance of a one-piece panel display for Illusionist architecture with almost infinite configurability for backwall, tabletop, tower, back lit and island displays.
